Today, Goddard Technologies, a leading product development consultancy that specializes in the development of medical devices and industrial automation / robotics, based in Beverly, Massachusetts and San Diego, California, announced the formation of Goddard Applied Research and Development (GARD™). This multi-disciplinary team of engineers is tasked with the research, development, and creation of advanced robotics products, with the goal of expanding our expertise and thought leadership in the evolving field.
GARD will function out of both the east and west coast offices, staffed by Goddard engineers. The GARD team identified two specific robotic control applications with foreseeable opportunities to improve medical device precision, and both safety and efficiency in industrial automation applications.
